I have grown up surrounded by the historic beauty of Norwich and Norfolk, developing a passion for its local produce along the way. So there is always an option to feed the eyes and more on my tours especially in a city that has 365 public houses, but don’t worry there are also 52 churches.

I love to show people around Norwich through all the secret back alleys and the hidden stories that I explored as a child. I have a fondness for the Norman Castle where I worked for over 8 years conducting tours in BSL and helping visitors investigate their family history.

With my love of history and art I am spoilt for choice, my beautiful county is the home of Nelson, its northern cliffs are nationally recognised for its geology, the salt marshes for their seasonal visitors and a highly regarded University of Arts. There is nothing I like more than to explore all of these whatever the weather.

I enjoy meeting new people and I am very flexible (always with a plan B). Additionally, I am able to adjust everything to suit travellers with disabilities making access a key to everyone’s enjoyment of my historic city and the soft rolling hills of Norfolk

Norfolk is recognised as having a rich heritage from the Time of Boudicca to the exploits of Nelson and the basing of a number of Airbases during the second world war.

Norwich is noted as having some of the best preserved Tudor buildings in the UK along with a rich agricultural and industrial heritage.

Nowadays Norwich is famed as being the first City of Ale along with the oldest 5 day static market in the country.

Norwich is now only 1hr and 30 mins from London (1.45 on some trains) and contains a range of quality and boutique hotels, making it a hidden jewel in England.
