Cheese Events Launched

Sunday 9th February at the Assembly House as part of the Cheese & Wine Event.

In the beautiful surroundings of the Assembly House and with the kind support of Richard Hughes, I had the pleasure to launch the Cheese Tasting Events in Norwich and Norfolk. My aim is to help all the Caseophiles of Norfolk (Cheese lovers) join together and have fun evenings over cheese. While they learn all about their favourite nibble.

A majority of the evening Cheese Tasting Events will happen in the delightful House on St Benedicts Street.

The events will soon be listed on the site under a new heading & you will be able to buy with just one click. Until that date they are on Eventbrite.

Cheese Tasting Events (all 7-9pm unless stated)

Mar 10, Discovery of Cheese, an introduction to cheese. Including making, tasting and history. £19.99
April 14, Continental and Easter Cheese. Including Sirecz (Hrudka) a Slovak Easter cheese. £21.99

May 12, Explore Britain by Cheese. Explore the history of Britain with at least 6 specially selected regional cheeses. From the Romans to current cheese trends £21.99

June 9, Continental, Or is it? A bit of a cheese off, where is the cheese made? Is it a continental Brie or a UK version? * cheeses in pairs £21.99

Sat June 27th Brewdog (half day event) TBC For the love of Cheese. This is a 3-hour event, with some drinks exploring at least 12 different cheeses from around the world. In rounds of 4 cheeses in each hour, each set paired with at least 2 different drinks.

July 14th, Summer cheese Board and fizz. From smoked over wood chips to Apricots. This event will look at different ways cheese has been flavoured, including herbs, leaf wrapped, fruits and smoking. A nice light tasting event perfect for summer. Each cheese paired with a fizzy drink. £27.99

Sept 8, Award Winners. This event will taste only award-winning cheeses. At the end of the event you will judge the king of kings. This will be according to National and International Cheese Competitions. £25

Oct 6, Discovery of Cheese, an introduction to cheese. Including making, tasting and history. General cheese tasting. £19.99

Nov 10, Continental Cheeses. An exploration of some famous continental cheeses and their history, From Alpine goats to cave aged £21.99

Dec 8, The Ultimate Christmas Cheese Board. Ideas for your best cheese board ever! Paired with some different drinks and sampling at least 8 different special cheeses. Amaze your friends with your cheese knowledge and how to taste it professionally. £35
